| Daniel is a commercial Photographer, Graphic Designer and Illustrator hailing from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, cutting his teeth as a graffiti artist with the likes of George Gorrow of Ksubi fame, and senior award winning advertising art director, Darren Martin. Becoming heavily involved in the first wave of skateboard culture to hit Australia, Daniel became absorbed by the art and music that came with it, and launched his career in visual arts. Having started as a junior designer, then Art Director on a skateboard magazine, during the final days of manual paste-up techniques, Daniel is now at the leading edge of digital design and photography. Having worked extensively for many different production houses, numerous freelance assignments both large and small, to large corporate commissions both here in Australia and abroad in the UK, as the Creative Director of the design firm Silverdigital. Daniel has recently opened his own creative studio. During a large stint in the award winning creative department of Brainwaave Interactive, then later to become part of Beyond International, Daniel developed a keen interest in photography, and embarked on an additional career path focusing on extreme sports, fashion and industrial themes, and has been published widely. He is also well known in the Australia music industry for his extensive work the with cult Australian band, The Hanging Tree as one of the co-founders, bassplayer and artist responsible for much of the band's iconic imagery. He is also known for his work on the acclaimed album release The New Normal, by Sydney band Cog. |
